Description

AG-82FT-S-17-0021 A. The contractor shall remove the existing Air Handler in the Utility room and the Air Conditioning unit for the Lanudry/Batrhoom system to the McRae Cafeteria building. The Contractor will also remove the existing R-22 Freon line and reclaim the R-22 refrigerant according to Oregon state law and EPA regulations including the old Air Conditioner and Air Handler. Install one new 240 Volt Single Phase, 2 Ton Electric Forced Air Handler (cap off the existing propane line) and customize existing duct work to adapt to the new Air Handler. Install one new 19.1 Seer 240 Volt Single Phase,2 Ton Heat Pump and new refrigerant lines from the Heat Pump to the Air Handler according to manufacturers specifications. Utilize the existing disconnect at the old Air Conditioning unit for the new Heat Pump. Run new conductor wire to the new 35 Amp Air Handler Panel per Oregon State Electrical code. Test all equipment after installation. Utilze the existing Carrier Infinity Touch electronic thermostat to operate the HVAC system. 2. HJ Andrews Experimental Forest McRae Cafeteria HVAC Replacement Option 1: B. The contractor shall remove the existing Air Handler in the Utility room and the Air Conditioning that operates the Dining/Kitchen system in the McRae Cafeteria building. The Contractor shall remove the existing R-22 Freon line and reclaim the R-22 refrigerant according to Oregon state law and EPA regulations including the old Air Conditioner and Air Handler. In the Dining/Kitchen System install one new 240 Volt Single Phase, 5 Ton Electric Forced Air Handler (cap off the existing Propane line) and customize existing duct work to adapt to the new Air Handler. Install one new 18 Seer 240 Volt Single Phase, 5 Ton Heat Pump (Carrier 25VNA060A003 or equilivant) and new refrigerant lines from the Heat Pump to the Air Handler according to manufacturers specifications. Utilize the existing disconnect at the old Air Conditioning unit for the new Heat Pump. Run new conductors to the new 90 Amp Air Handler Panel per Oregon Statel Electrical code. Test all equipment after installation. Utilze the existing Carrier Infinity Touch electronic thermostat to operate the HVAC system. 3. HJ Andrews Experimental Forest McRae Cafeteria HVAC Replacement Option 2: C. The contractor shall remove the existing Air Handler in the Utility room and the Air Conditioning that serves the Foyer in the McRae Cafeteria building. The Contractor will also remove the existing R-22 Freon line and reclaim the R-22 refrigerant according to Oregon state law and EPA regulations including the old Air Conditioner and Air Handler. Install one new 240 Volt Single Phase,4 Ton Electric Forced Air Handler (cap off the existing propane line) and customize existing duct work to adapt to the new Air Handler. Install one new 18.3 Seer 240 Volt Single Phase, 4 Ton Heat Pump (Carrier 25NAA048A003 or equilivant) and new refrigerant lines from the Heat Pump to the Air Handler according to manufacturers specifications. Utilize the existing disconnect at the old Air Conditioning unit for the new Heat Pump. Run new conductor wire to the new 80 Amp Air Handler Panel per Oregon State Electrical code. Test all equipment after installation. Utilze the existing Carrier Infinity Touch electronic thermostat to operate the HVAC system. The allotted time for this contract is 30 days from the notice to proceed. Pre-proposal Site Visit - Upon Request. Location: HJ ANDREWS EXPERIMENTAL FOREST USFS ROAD 15-130-132 BLUE RIVER, OREGON 97413 The magnitude of this project is less than $25,000. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns under NAICS Code 238220. Offerors shall submit all questions in writing by August 7, 2017. Questions shall be sent to asalas@fs.fed.us.
