- PWS Site Map PLEASE NOTE THIS IS THE PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE, NOT THE ACTUAL SOLICITATION. Please read entire synopsis before contacting for questions. Army Contracting Command NJ-Fort Dix is issuing this synopsis for a firm fixed price purchase order as a result of the solicitation that will be issued. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to provide contracted supplies and services, unless specified as provided by the Government. Services include, but are not limited to: Grounds Maintenance including Mowing and Trimming/Edging at the Caven Point USARC, #1 Chapel Ave & Caven Point Road Jersey City, NJ 07305-4021. The period of performance is a 1 year base period and four (4) one-year option periods. Target start date is on/about 1 September 2017. Specifications/performance work statement will be included in the solicitation. This is a commercial acquisition. This solicitation is a request for quote and is issued as a small business set aside with a primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) of 561730. BOTH TECHNICAL AND PRICE PROPOSALS MUST BE SUBMITTED. The entire solicitation will be made available on or about 24 July 2017 via fedbizops.gov. The required response date will be stated in the solicitation, Block 8. Please note the response date listed with this pre-solicitation notice is not the actual due date. The actual due date will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-43. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. No hard copies will be mailed. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in SAM (System for Award Management), https://www.sam.gov in order to transact business with the government. Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the SAM system may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in SAM at the time of award.
