- FedBizOpps Notice Description: US Special Operations Command Cell Secure Field Support The U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC-NJ) Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 is conducting a Market Survey on behalf of the Project Manager for Soldier Weapons and U.S Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center for support services to encompass a broad range of technology areas. The US Army Office of the Project Manager Soldier Weapons (PM-SW) and the US Army Research, Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM) Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) in conjunction with the US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) are currently investigating the generation, propagation, and interaction of various target effects produced from advanced weapons, munitions, energy technologies and other means to meet the full spectrum of special mission needs. The contractor will serve as liaison to the U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) 3rd Operations Support Group (3OSG) by maintaining a working presence at Ft Bragg, supporting 3OSG and USASOC research, development, acquisition and operations; and visiting other key USASOC/3OSG locations to accomplish statement of work tasking. The personnel supporting this effort will need to have extensive experience, skills and knowledge with 3OSG processes and requirements, as this will be a prerequisite to gain access to the required data, offices and agencies. Personnel will also need extensive skills, experience and knowledge of PM-SW and ARDEC missions, roles, responsibilities and products/services to enhance effectiveness of these organizations in supporting 3OSG/USASOC. Work efforts would require performance clearance up to and including the TOP SECRET level. TELEPHONE INQUIRES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This Market Survey is for planning purposes only and should not be construed as a request for proposal or an obligation on the part of the Government. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this survey or otherwise pay for information solicited. This is not a solicitation and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation. The information you provide will only be used in developing an acquisition approach for future system research and development support.
