- GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION (GSA) SOURCES SOUGHT FOR A KEY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, CHICAGO, IL This is not a request for proposal and a contract award will not be made from this questionnaire. Your answers to the below questions may be used to tailor a solicitation for an automated key management/tracking system. Please answer the following questions to the best of your ability and respond to Kim-Bogan.Ridley@gsa.gov by Friday, 7/26/17 @ 12:00 PM CST. Summary of Scope: Install an automated key management/tracking control system at 536 S. Clark Street, Chicago, Illinois and at 610 S. Canal Street, Chicago, Illinois to help organize and secure all pertinent building and equipment keys. The key system should provide biometric access for added security and possess the ability to monitor and control system from a designated work space. The required system must also have the ability to track key issuance and usage to include keys which are checked out and or overdue; provide email updates for keys which have exceeded the lease period; and be able to expand storage (key) capabilities if needed. Location 1: 536 South Clark Street, Chicago IL 60605 & Location 2: 610 South Canal Street, Chicago IL 60607 ●Access to the keys shall be through, at the very least, a password and biometric (fingerprinting) means. ●The system must be remotely accessible from a computer workstation in the property management office. ●The system must provide administrators with the ability to program access features such as length of time a key can be checked out and which keys can be checked out. ●The system must be modular and expandable to account for an increase of key ●The system must provide automated email alerts to designated personnel when keys are not return. ●The system must be able to generate key access reports to include times and durations of key box access, key absence, and instances of late or non-returned keys. The Contractor shall coordinate with the Property Management Office to ensure all work performed complies with the building standards. Proposed Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price. A firm fixed price contract will be procured under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334118. Responses Those wishing to identify their capability to provide the aforementioned services should respond to this announcement via email no later than Wednesday, 7/26/17 at 12:00 PM (CST). Interested parties should provide the following information: 1) a) Company name. b) CAGE code. c) DUNS number. d) Size status, socio-economic certifications/categories under NAICS 334118. 2) A statement describing the company's interest and ability in performing the work and meeting scope requirements. 3) Capabilities and experience with similar scope contracts. Submitted references should highlight 2-3 recent and key management/tracking systems in commercial office facilities within the past five (5) years and give details on project scope, locations, and point of contact (contracting officer or COR/inspector) with titles, phone and email address.
