The purpose of this modification is to respond to the following inquiry: 1. Can you clarify the terms Force Protection and Facility Investment in this Sources Sought Notice? Government Response: The scope of Facility Investment captures the requirements for the Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (SRM) sub-functions only. The Facility Investment includes all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, supplies, equipment, and support services required to perform SRM work. Included are services such as services orders, preventive maintenance, inspection, testing, and certification, and other recurring services. No additional information is currently available. The Force Protection includes all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, supplies, equipment, and transportation required to provide Force Protection Services. Included are services such as roving patrol (building checks) and dispatching services (alarm monitoring). No additional information is currently available. 2. The response date for the Source Sought Notice remains FRIDAY, 14 July 2017 at 2:00 PM Local Time, Norfolk, VA. LATE RESPONSES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
