USDA Rural Small Business Connection- Albuquerque, New Mexico on August 16, 2017 SAVE the DATE! U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Small Business Connection Event Hosted by the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization Albuquerque, New Mexico August 16, 2017 The Department of Agriculture (USDA) will host Rural Small Business Connections. This training event will provide small businesses with a series of educational networking sessions and opportunities on how to build capacity and successfully do business with USDA and other Federal agencies. The Rural Small Business Connections is designed to provide small businesses and small farmer-owned cooperatives with the exposure and insight to increase small business contracting participation with the Federal government. Conference attendees will have an opportunity to participate in a full day of learning discussions led by program and small business procurement officials from USDA, and other Federal agencies. Agriculture is just not food! USDA purchases construction/repairs of highways and office buildings, professional support services, vaccines, lab equipment, IT products/services, janitorial supplies, administrative support services, land-treatment supplies, fire prevention control, aviation, tree thinning, and the list goes on and on! The event will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 1000 Woodward Place NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87102. There is no fee to participate.
