Description
AMENDMENT #01 The purpose of this amendment is to (1) announce the Aircraft Generator Test Stand (AGTS) Industry Day, and (2) Post qualifying questions. (1) INDUSTRY DAY An Industry Day will be held at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL) on August 22 & 23 2017. Industry will have an opportunity to give feedback on draft requirements from Engineering, Logistics, Cyber Security and Software. The draft requirements will be posted on FBO at a later date. A legacy AGTS will be available for viewing. Industry will have an opportunity to have a one-on-one breakout session with the NAVAIR AGTS team to share their capabilities and product line. All costs associated with responses to the RFI and participation in the Industry Day are the responsibility of the participating contractors. Interested parties should contact Keith Welge (keith.welge@navy.mil) no later than 09 August 2017 for reservations, restrictions and access information. (2) QUALIFYING QUESTIONS The NAVAIR AGTS Team will be asking participants the following questions during the one-on-one breakout sessions. ENGINEERING: 1. What aircraft manufactures and/or aircraft electrical power generation equipment suppliers you currently hold licensing or intellectual property sharing agreements with (i.e. Boeing, Northrup Grumman, Hamilton Sundstrand,...etc.) 2. Has your organization performed any installation onboard U.S. Navy CVNs (Aircraft Carriers)? 3. Have any of your products undergone the heavy weight shock qualifications of MIL-S-901D? Did the product receive an acceptance letter? 4. Does your organization have experience with MIL-STD-461F, Electromagnetic Interference Characteristics of Subsystems and equipment? 5. Has your test equipment passed MIL-STD-167-1A, Mechanical Vibrations of Shipboard Equipment Type I? 6. Has your organization produced test equipment that has satisfied MIL-STD-1399, Section 300B (Electric Power, Alternating Current for type 1 power)? 7. Does your organization have experience with Boeing F/A-18E/F/G generator converter unit (GCU) P/N FH30001G2 and FH30001G3? 8. Has your organization provided software that has an open architecture system? LOGISTICS: 1. Is your organization familiar with/developed Navy Technical Manuals using MIL-STD-3001? Are you familiar with extensible markup language (XML)? 2. Does your organization have experience with the Navy Supply System and Logistics Data Product (LPD)? Which LSAR electronic database software do you use? 3. Is your organization familiar with the Navy maintenance levels? 4. Does your organization have experience developing Operator and Maintainer training courses for the Navy utilizing Content Planning Module/Learning Objective Model (CPM/LOM)? 5. Within your organization how does data flow from engineering to logistics throughout the acquisition and how do you ensure schedule progress? CYBER SECURITY: 1. Does your organization have experience with building test equipment and developing software following Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 8500.01 Cybersecurity, DoDI 8510.01 Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology, and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Template Implementation Guides (STIG)s? 2. Does your organization have properly trained and certified personnel to perform cybersecurity workforce work roles as per Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140.01 Cyberspace Workforce Management, DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program, and DFARS Clause 252.239-7001 Information Assurance Contractor Training and Certification?
