Description
Limited Source Justification Limited-sources justification (LSJ) award of a Task Order to MCP COMPUTER PRODUCTS INC. under BPA GS-26F-GA001 awarded under GSA FSS, contract No. GS-35F-0889N on behalf of the GSA OCIO for the procurement of Targus Docking Stations. The order will be placed on a Firm-Fixed Price basis. GSA OCIO requested that GSA's Assisted Acquisition Services (AAS) Division procure and award an order for Computers and Targus Docking Stations. This posting applies only to the Targus Docking Stations. The products will be provided to GSA within 30 days, per attached LSJ details. In summary, this particular brand name equipment is required to enable GSA to maintain a known IT equipment base that will not limit, diminish, or cripple the agency's capabilities to deploy compatible functional platform to their current network. The Targus equipment has met all criteria and security requirements. The network system is currently utilizing over one thousand Targus docking stations as one of the enterprise wide hardware models to support their IT System. One of the requirements for GSA docking stations is the ability of the docking station to provide power to Dell laptops as well as other brands of laptops such as HP and Lenovo. Another requirement is for the docking station to support up to two 4K monitors. The Targus Dock177USZ is the only known TAA compliant docking station available that meets these requirements. Technical and logistical support requirements are minimized with the continued deployment of Targus-brand docking stations, rather than having multiple manufacturers' products in the product mix. These docking stations also fully support the current GSA workspace environment.
