- Description
- The NPS Center for Cyber Warfare has a sole source requirement for the development of software code that improves the AIS-SRT which runs on government owned Ettus Research SDRs. The software code developed shall be written in the GNU Radio framework. The software code shall implement an AIS transmitter/receiver unit with the ability to actively participate in the SOTDMA network as defined in International Telecommunication Union (ITU-R M.1371-5) standard. This would allow the AIS-SRT to participate in the network as a fully compliant station. The contractor shall produce a final deliverable of software code and supporting documentation. The code shall be integrated with the existing AIS components in the CCW EEMS. The U.S. government will retain all data rights to the software and documentation produced in accordance with this Statement of Work, including full authority to modify and distribute source code. (NOTE: GNU Radio, upon which the AIS transmitter is to be based, is licensed under the GPLv3 license which in broad terms allows for modification and extension of the GNU Radio code base. ) See attached Request For Quote for further details.
