Description

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Hampton VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 100 Emancipation Drive in Hampton, Virginia will be soliciting quotes for a highly complex Security Infrastructure System. This requirement will overhaul the existing system, and replace it with a comprehensive security platform to include replace/upgrade/install surveillance cameras, replace the facility s panic alert system with an escort security system, establish/install a closed loop Power over Ethernet (PoE) mesh access point, and Personal Identification Verification (PIV) enabled door access controllers. A Request for Quote (RFQ) VA246-17-Q-1141 will be issued on or about July 14, 2017. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The contract shall be completed one-hundred and twenty (120) days from award. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 517110 Wired Telecommunications Carriers with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,500 employees. The classification code is D325. The solicitation will be issued as an SDVOSB set-aside. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
