Description
Amendment 0001 (Cancellation) As of July 10, 2017 this solicitation is cancelled in its entirety. See solicitation amendment 0001, attached. Corpus Christi Army Depot Contracting Office Army Contracting Command-Redstone (CCAM-DPD) intends to solicit, evaluate and award a contract for Nine (9) Ball Bearings (Part Number 001688-9), under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This requirement is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with (IAW) FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the attached solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis. The solicitation number for this requirement will be issued as a request for quote (RFQ) W912NW-17-T-0058. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 332991 and has a size standard of 1,250 employees. All questions regarding this combined synopsis/solicitation should be submitted in writing, no later than 30 June 2017 by 1000 (CST). Questions should be submitted via e-mail to: arthur.l.gunter.civ@mail.mil. The evaluation will be conducted IAW FAR 13.106-2. The award will be made to the successful offeror IAW the solicitation terms representing the best value to the Government based on lowest price. All quotes received by the closing date will be considered by the Government. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the Department of Defense System for Award Management (SAM). Register via the SAM website at https://www.sam.gov or contact SAM Customer Service at 866-606-8220. Offerors must also complete Offeror Representations and Certifications on-line at https://www.sam.gov or complete in RFQ W912NW-17-T-0058.
