- Description
- This notice serves to announce the intent of the 81 ST Contracting Squadron to issue a solicitation for three (3) Full Time Equivalent (FTE) Inpatient Pharmacists (non-credentialed) and one (1) FTE Clinical Outpatient Pharmacist (credentialed) on a personal services basis at the Keesler Medical Center located at Keesler Air Force Base, MS. Contractor personnel shall work in the Inpatient or Clinical Pharmacy, providing pharmaceutical care for Government beneficiaries. The Contractor shall perform services in accordance with (IAW) the ethical, professional, and technical standards of the health care industry and the Air Force medical department. Contractor services shall cover the range of services provided in a civilian medical treatment facility (MTF). Performance shall be in accordance with (IAW) the requirements contained in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and the professional standards of the Joint Commission (JC). The projected period of performance will consist of a base year beginning on or around 1 October 2017 through 30 September 2018, plus a one-year option, not to exceed 30 months. This competitive acquisition is set aside 100% for Small Business. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 621399 and the small business size is $7.5 million. The requirement will be solicited as a commercial service using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the authority of FAR 13.5. The government anticipates award of a firm- fixed price contract as a result of the solicitation. Contractors eligible for award must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award with any DOD agency. Registration may be accomplished at website, http://www.sam.gov. Contractors must also submit their representations and certifications. After award all invoices shall be electronically submitted via Wide Area Work Flow. Registration and invoicing may be accomplished at https://wawf.eb.mil/. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be posted with the solicitation. The solicitation will be available to download via http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 31 July 2017. The solicitation may be posted earlier or later. It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor the website for solicitation release, postings, changes and amendments, and closing date. No paper copies of the synopsis or solicitation will be available and no verbal responses will be accepted. Proposal questions will only be accepted once the solicitation is posted; all proposal questions must be in writing and answers will be posted for all interested parties to review.
