Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The VA Network Contracting Office 15 intends to issue Request for Quote (RFQ) VA255-17-Q-0590 to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement with certified VOSB/SDVOSB for the Eastern Kansas Healthcare System (Leavenworth/Topeka KS). The requirement consists of the running of telecommunications infrastructure for medical needs. This need is recurring and indeterminate, so the facility is requesting a multiple source, multiple award contract covering at a minimum the following parts/services with a $50,000.00 threshold per task order. Category 6 (or standard) Installation and Certification Fiber Pulls, Installation and Certification Copper Pulls, Installation and Certification Any necessary core drilling Current Networking Hardware such as Switches, Routers and Wireless Access Points multiple selections such as 24-, 48- and 96-port Gig Switches All associated terminations and certification Any necessary rough-ins, conduit, and/or raceway (including any necessary penetration/fire safety work) Conduit/Raceway All necessary faceplates All necessary network jacks Solicitation #  VA255-17-Q-0590 will be electronically issued in commercial item format in accordance with FAR Part 12 on or about July 11, 2017, with a tentative closing date  of August 10, 2017. The NAICS code for this procurement is  238210. Any future amendments and other miscellaneous documents will be available electronically for download at the following URL: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available, and no telephone requests for paper copies of the solicitation will be accepted.
