- Description
- Posts and Poles - BLM Utah Amendment Three (3) posts the following question - answer Q. Are you just looking for a tapered post or would you be ok with posts that are uniform width from top to bottom? A. A uniform pole would be just fine. We would expect to see some taper but if you have some uniform poles, then they should be between 6-8 inches diameter. Just make sure when you submit your bid, you note that on there so we can consider that when we are looking at all the options Amendment Two (2) posts the following question and answer: Q. Do you want the cedar posts to be somewhat uniform diameter anywhere from 5" to 10"? Or are you looking for a tapered 5" minimum at the top and up to 10" at the bottom? Please let me know when you have a moment. A. What we are looking for is anything within that range. On the top, anything down to 5 inches and on the bottom, anything down to 10 inches. What we do not want is something so small on either end that it will not be able to bear the weight of the fence rails or animals pushing on it. So a few examples of what would be fine: Top Bottom 12" 13" 7" 11" 6" 13" AMENDMENT ONE RECTIFYS THE COMPUTER GLITCH OF THE SF-18 NOT POSTING BY POSTING IT AS AN ATTACHED FILE.
