- The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order with one Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) source, Corps Biologics, LLC. The procurement is for Zeiss OS/Forum Archive Viewer and Licenses. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 339115 (Ophthalmic Instruments, Equipment and Supplies). Corps Biologics is an authorized to sell Zeiss products and is a VETBIZ registered SDVOSB. This procurement will be made under the authority of Title 38 U.S.C. 8127 and implemented under VAAR 819.7007. IAW VAAR 819.7007(b), sole source awards to SDVOSB concerns, the contracting officer s determination whether to make a sole source award is a business decision wholly within the discretion of the contracting officer This requirement is for: Seattle VAMC VA Puget Sound Health Care System 1660 S. Columbian Way Seattle, WA 98108 This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This contract will be awarded on July 12, 2017. If you wish to be included in this solicitation, please respond electronically to robert.hamilton8@va.gov by 9AM EST Wednesday, July 12, 2017. To be considered eligible for award, company must be an SDVOSB and be registered/verified through Vetbiz.gov. Potential sources shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system such that OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty, and service associated with the equipment/system shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. This procurement is for new Equipment ONLY; no remanufactured or "gray market" items. All Equipment must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
