Description

AG-82FT-S-17-0018 The Cascade Head Experimental Forest Retaining Wall project consists of moving the debris field from the South side of the Water Shed to allow for re-building the retaining wall. Remove the old lumber from the debris pile and any unusable lumber disposed of according to Oregon State Law and EPA regulations. The retaining wall shall be approximately two feet from the Water Shed using 4"X12" treated lumber, with no spices, for the retaining wall along with 6"X6"X6' foot treated posts. The height of the wall will be approximately 3' feet high and 12' feet long. The posts will be buried approximately 3' with 4000 psi concrete poured around the posts, according to the plan. The contractor can reuse the existing 4"X12" treated lumber that the old retaining wall was constructed of. Backfill the retaining wall according to plan after the concrete has set up for at least one week around the posts. The allotted time for this contract is 21 days from the notice to proceed. Pre-proposal Site Visit - Upon Request. The magnitude of this project is less than $25,000. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns under NAICS Code 236220. Offerors shall submit all questions in writing by July 24, 2017. Questions shall be sent to asalas@fs.fed.us. Submit your proposal electronically to asalas@fs.fed.us, no later than July 31st, 2017 11:00am MT.
