Description

AMD 0006. Amendment 0006 is hereby issued to incorporated the below changes to solicitation # SP4702-17-R-0013; 1. Addendum 0002, dated 16 June 2017, Question #1 "Can we perform a pretest after completing each unit, then have the inspector come in and test all elevators at the same time after each POD is complete", is no longer applicable for this solicitation. 2. Replace the above statement with the following; The intended schedule of work is for (2) passenger elevators that share a shaft and (1) freight elevator be taken out of service to perform the upgrades. Once the work is complete on the elevators then they will be inspected and tested. Upon successful completion of the inspections and tests, the Qualified Elevator Inspector QEI will complete, sign and provide a certificate of compliance with ASME A17.1/CSA B44 to the Government before the elevator is brought back to public service. At that time, the warranty period would begin for those elevators. There would be end up being 6 phases to the project. AMENDMENT 0006 MUST BE SIGNED AND RETURNED VIA EMAIL TO RICARDO.BLANCOSOTO@DLA.MIL BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE OF JULY 12, 2017 AT 1:00 P.M. (EASTERN TIME). All other terms/conditions for this solicitation remains unchanged.
