Narrow Aisle Reach Truck Forklift Albuquerque, New Mexico VA (NMVAHCS) 3. Background. Albuquerque VA is seeking vendors who can provide a 4,000lb capacity Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (Stand up forklift) for purchase to sustain operations in the facility warehouse. 4. Scope. To provide a 4,000lb capacity Narrow Aisle Reach Truck, (stand up forklift) with the following minimum characteristics: 24v capacity (including charger), flooded cell 24v with single point watering system. Single stage reach. Outrigger should be 34 Inner Diameter (ID) and 45 -48 Outer Diameter (OD). Height must be under 100 with a fork height of 190 to 200 respectively. Should have standard 42 forks/tines and must have operator shield, emergency disconnect and meet all OSHA guidelines for Reach Truck safety, including overhead protection, back up alarm, and ergonomic controls. Must have overhead fan, headlamps, and Flashing safety lights/beacons. Price shall include: Reach Truck, battery charger, delivery, set up, initial training on Reach Truck and charger, and owner s manual. 5. Specific Tasks. Upon delivery of Reach Truck to Albuquerque VA, an inspection will be conducted by warehouse personnel and delivery driver, with the delivery bill to identify any potential damage in shipping. Once delivery is accepted, the vendor will be contacted to set up (as required) initial and training on the new unit. Training will be conducted by the vendor on operational use, safety, and potential hazards associated with operating a stand up reach truck, with Material Handling personnel and supervisor. Maintenance logs, procedures and recommended time frames for maintenance completion will be conducted as part of training process. Vendor will ensure all necessary contact information is delivered for facility use for any future maintenance/preventive maintenance requirements as described in warranty section and as is covered under warranty clause. 5.1 Task 1 - Enterprise Management Controls. Reach truck shipping will be made FOB Destination and be dual inspected upon arrival for any potential damage occurring in shipping process.. e. Inspection and Acceptance Criteria. Once delivery inspection is completed, and found to be satisfactory, the Purchase Order will be received in the VA receiving system as proof of delivery and acceptance. This will serve as proof for payment on this Purchase Order. 10. Risk Control N/A 11. Place of Performance.
