- NSN 2510-01-542-0425- Torsion Bar, Suspension being bought in accordance with BAE Systems Land Armaments L.P.. (076M6) P/N 7010599-1 and BAE Systems Land Armaments L.P.. (05386) P/N 7010599-1. Based on market research this item is manufactured for military use only and is not commercial; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 in its solicitation for this item. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item with 15 days of this notice. The total quantity being procured is 219 each with 103 each going to (SW3215) Barstow, CA and 116 each going to (SW3121) Albany, GA. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date of 07/21/2017. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. There are no technical drawings/bid sets available. This solicitation is not set-aside for small business. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, socioeconomic, and JWOD. The required delivery is 480 days and a contractor first article test of 60 days with a Government review of 120 days. In addition product lot testing is required with a delivery of 60 days and a total delivery of 480 days. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the US by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of Price, Past Performance and Delivery. This solicitation contains DLAD Provision 52.215-9023 for Reverse Auction (RA). The government reserves the right to activate this provision after timely offers have been received and evaluated. Pursuant to DAG 15.203-2 submission of proposals by electronic commerce (e-mail) is allowed. Submit e-mailed proposals directly to the contracting officer at: Chad.Wright@dla.mil. A single email cannot exceed 15 MB. Proposals greater than 15 MB must be divided into multiple emails All offers shall be in English and in US dollars. All interested parties may submit an offer.
