- High Resolution Thermogravimetric Analyzer National Aeronautics and Space Administration NASA Shared Services Center Stennis Space Center, MS 39529-6000 6/30/2017 SUBJECT: Request for Quotation (RFQ) 80NSSC17Q0062, High Resolution Thermogravimetric Analyzer This solicitation includes the following sections: 1. Bid Schedule- Section 1 2. Instructions to Offerors - Section 2 3. Solicitation Provisions/Representations and Certifications - Section 3 4. Clauses/Terms and Conditions - Section 4 5. Quote Evaluation Criteria - Section 5 SECTION 1 BID SCHEDULE STATEMENT OF WORK High Resolution Thermogravimetric Analyzer 1. INTRODUCTION This Statement of Work describes the requirements for a high resolution thermogravitmetric analyzer (TGA) instrument to be provided to the Materials Evaluation Laboratory at the NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC). 2. REQUIREMENTS The vendor shall provide a high resolution TGA that meets all JSC technical requirements as listed below in section 2.1, TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS. The vendor shall install, setup and calibrate the TGA, verify system performance, and provide employee training in the Materials Evaluation Laboratory following installation. 2.1. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS TGA Base Unit High resolution capability where the instrument detects the small changes in mass loss. Temperature range minimum: ambient to 1000°C Gas Delivery System Capable of supplying 3 or more gases Computer System Windows 7 - 64 OS or better 2.5GHz or higher 4GB RAM or larger 150GB Hard Drive or larger 19" display or larger Voltage The instrument must be capable of operating on 115 v. Adapter can be included to reach this requirement. 3. DELIVERABLES 1 TGA unit 2 CPU 3 Display monitor 4 Manuals including gas line connection requirements 4. CONTRACTOR TASKS 4.1. Installations and Checkout The vendor shall provide all on-site start up, checkout/calibrations, and at least one day of hands-on customer training. Requirements for gas line connections shall be provided by the vendor at least thirty days prior to installation. 4.2. Safety Requirements The vendor shall provide a copy of applicable Safety and Health documents (hazardous materials lists, Materials Safety Data Sheets) at time of proposal. 4.3. Documentation The vendor shall provide a copy of the operations manual, preventive maintenance manual, and applicable specifications and drawings. Electronic media on compact disk in common format, such as MS office or Adobe Acrobat Reader is acceptable. 5. WARRANTY The vendor shall provide a minimum of 1 year of on-site complete system warranty on parts and labors installed against defects in material and workmanship. 6. DELIVERY SCHEDULE All items must be delivered to JSC Materials Evaluation Laboratory (MEL); installation, startup, calibrations/system checkouts and training must be completed no later than three weeks after receiving the hardware on site.
