THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, on behalf of the Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Hampton, Virginia is conducting market research to find vendors interested, capable, and certified to provide Patient Pick-Up and Delivery From/To Veteran Affairs Medical Center (VAMC): Services for Wheelchair Vans drivers shall report to the VAMC Hampton Emergency Department (ED) to check in for each transport.   The Health Administration Service is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Contractor shall furnish all personnel and equipment to provide services for Wheelchair Vans, twenty-four (24) hours per day, three hundred sixty-five days per year. The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Hampton, VA (VAMC) a 516-bed facility, serves a 15-county area in eastern Virginia and a 10-county area in northeastern North Carolina. This area, commonly referred to as the Tidewater Area, has a population of more than 160,000 veterans. Comprehensive health care is provided through primary care, acute inpatient care, psychiatric care, chronic spinal cord care, long-term care, hospice palliative care and domiciliary rehabilitative residential care. All responding vendors are asked to provide the following: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 561210 Size Standard: $38.5 million, and the Classification code is J039. Interested parties should submit with their response the following information: Company name and DUN # POC information Business size and socio-economic classification (for example SDVOSB, Woman-owned) Is this item available on FSS Schedule?
