- Description
- This is a request for information (RFI), not a pre-solicitation notice or a solicitation. RFIs may be used when the Government does not presently intend to award a contract, but wants to obtain price, delivery, other market information, or capabilities for planning purposes. Responses to these notices are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. There is no required format for RFIs. The Federal Bureau of Investigation would like manufacturers or resellers of audit software to contact the contract officer listed in this RFI. The FBI is interested in hearing from anyone, but specifically, companies that sell audit software to large-business accounting departments. The FBI's need may end up being between 15-100 users. The CO would like interested contractors to submit a PDF via email that summarizes your audit software product or a link to your website. Please keep it concise. 1. We are interested in learning about software products that support large-business accounting departments with internal financial audits, and general macro enabled analysis. One popular software on the market is IDEA software with the following add-ons: Assets on Hand Audit Solution, Financial Statements Audit Solution, Procure to Pay, Travel and Expenses, and Payroll Controls. We're interested in learning about equal products. Does your company offer software training and certification options as well? The CO's goal is to understand various offerings. 2. The CO would like interested contractors to define how they price their products via licensing, subscription, or add-on offerings. What do those words entail? For example, does the initial purchase of a license entail you will get updates on software throughout the year or is a subscription also required for purchase? Are licenses and subscriptions renewed each year or just the subscription? How are add-ons renewed? The goal here is to help the CO understand different pricing methods in the market, so CO can think through appropriate contract types. 3. Please provide your DUNS and small business status in your PDF.
