Description
Performance Work Statement Languages needed to meet requirement Top 10 Languages This SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE is to determine the availability of potential small businesses (e.g., 8(a), service-disabled veteran owned small businesses, HUBZone small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, veteran-owned small businesses, and women-owned small businesses), with a GSA Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) Contract, 00CORP The Professional Services Schedule (PSS), Languages Services, Category 382, 2 who are able to provide over the phone translation services for various diverse languages in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) titled Phone Interpretation Services-SWD. Over the past four fiscal years, this service utilized 85,926 average total minutes annually. The contractor shall provide single and dual handset and wireless telephones to the Government to use for interpretation services. Wired telephones shall be compatible with existing NIH, Clinical Center (CC) analog wiring. Specifically, the Contractor shall have: 1. All necessary equipment, installed and functioning at the time of award of contract, to provide the services required by the contract. 2. Telephone terminal equipment with expansion capabilities to accommodate an increase in call volume, as needed. 3. Telephone terminal equipment capable of collecting the detailed call traffic information needed to produce usage and detailed invoice reports. 4. Single push button code access to language offerings. The Government estimates a need for 100 telephone handsets (approximately 60 single handsets and 40 dual handsets) and 10 wireless handsets. The information gained from this market research will help the National Institutes of Health (NIH,) CC) plan for its acquisition strategy. Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. Potential small businesses shall also include the business information outlined in the section below as part of their response: 1. DUNS 2. Company Name 3. Company Address 4. Current GSA Schedules appropriate to this Sources Sought 5. Type of Company (i.e., small business, 8(a), woman owned, veteran owned, etc.) as validated via the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). All offerors must register on the CCR located at http://www.sam.gov 6. Company Point of Contact, Phone, and Email address Responses must be submitted electronically not later than 11:00 AM Eastern Standard Time, Wednesday, July 5, 2017. Submissions should be sent to Contract Specialist electronically at dehnerm@cc.nih.gov. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish bonafide capability to fulfill the requirements established in the PWS. Capability statements will not be returned and will not be accepted after the due date. The maximum number of pages for submission is 12 pages. This Sources Sought Notice is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this Notice. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Notice. Respondents will not be notified of the results of review of any submission.
