- Description
- The proposed contract is for the Defense Technology Security Administration (DTSA), which is the stewardship of technology security policy and programs for the Department of Defense (DoD). DTSA's technology security mission is to develop and implement policies on international transfers of defense-related goods, services, and technologies to ensure that such transfers are consistent with U.S. national security interests. Technology security policy development and implementation requires DTSA analysts to conduct extensive research and evaluation of data from numerous and diverse sources. The contractor's support is required to fully automate the National Disclosure Policy (NDP) decisional database and establish and maintain an automated workflow management and electronic filing systems in support of Directorate (and DTSA) requirements and initiatives. This database is essential to making consistent, informed decisions concerning the disclosure of classified military information to foreign governments and international organizations. The continued objective of the requested support is to maximize the services provided to the community at large by ISD, the NDPC Secretariat and to the National Disclosure Policy System (NDPS), the OSD Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Generator data base, the Data Exchange and Cooperative Program Agreements Data Base, and the Foreign Visit System (FVS). This requirement continues to be of utmost urgency.
