Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE This document serves as notification of an upcoming solicitation for a minor construction project Project 583-331 Expand Specialty Care Clinic: Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and all other necessary resources to construct a new Building 5 and to renovate Building 1, 6th Floor D-Wing. The new Building 5 shall be accepted by VA for beneficial use and occupancy before the renovation of Building 1, 6th Floor, D-Wing can begin; at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center located at 1481 W. 10th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana. The work includes, but is not limited to general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, necessary demolition and removal of existing structures and certain other items necessary completion. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings of the solicitation and all applicable local and VA building codes. This project will be procured as 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a standard size of $36.4M. The magnitude of this construction project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Contract awardee shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, training, materials, supplies, and incidentals necessary to accomplish the work in accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications & drawings provided. The VA will issue a RFP on or about August 2, 2017 via FEDBIZOPPS.gov. A site visit will be scheduled prior to the closing of solicitation, the date, time and location will be posted in the solicitation.
