Description

This is a Sole Source notice published for informational purposes only. This proposed action is for the procurement of an annual subscription from ClipperData, Inc. to receive: One-year, plus 2 option years subscription to ClipperData Global Crude and Global LPG Tanker Tracking Data. ClipperData Global Crude and Global LPG Tanker Tracking Data is the only known supplier of such information. The anticipated period of performance for base plus 2 options is August 1, 2017 to July 31, 2019. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B) - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This proposed procurement will be a Sole Source under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 511199, IT and Telecom - Web-based Subscription. The business size standard for NAICS 511199 is 500 employees. The proposed source is ClipperData, LLC, 6900 Cabot Court, Prospect, KY 40059. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
