Description
The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) has a need for: Four TruRize Chairs with the Following Salient Features Adjustable height allows for patients of all heights to utilize the sitting features to enter and exit the chair with minimal effort. Sit-to-Stand function eases the transition of laying in bed to sitting and supports the patient from standing to sitting position with minimal muscular strain on the caregiver. Reclining capability providing additional comfort and options for patients recovering from serious illness or surgery Full flat transfer for patients who need to be laterally moved to stretcher or bed Built in Exit Alarm prevents patient falls by alerting nursing staff of excess movement Multiple positioning for patient comfort and mobililty Promotes early patient mobility for critically ill patients by supporting patient from a standing position to sitting position. Promotes safe patient handling program by preventing injuries to caregivers and patients. The government is seeking all interested vendors; and specifically Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) in accordance with Vets First and the Rule of 2 (Kingdomware decision). VHA is currently contemplating a Brand name procurement because the VA has Pegasus shelving units and furniture and the new parts will have to be compatible with the existing pieces in order to be assembled with the existing parts in order to complete the project. If interested, please provide All SDVOSB and VOSB firms that respond shall include proof of CVE certification via www.vip.vetbiz.gov. All small business firms that respond shall include proof of small business status via their Representations and Certifications in accordance with (FAR 4.1102 Policy). While SDVOSB/VOSB contractors are preferred, all capable contractors are welcome to respond to this sources sought notice for market research purposes, and shall include a specification sheet with your submission. In addition, if you would like to propose a different brand please provide a statement on how they can be integrated with our current Pegasus parts.
