THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. This Sources Sought notice is being issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future. No formal solicitation for this work exists at this time. All qualified concerns may submit capability statements for consideration. Capability statements received will be reviewed to determine the technical, administrative, and management capability of such offerors to perform this type of work. The capability statements will be used to determine appropriate procurement strategy, in particular whether a set-aside or an alternate procurement strategy is warranted. The Government does not intend to award a contract and will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. The Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, Yuma Area Office (YAO) is seeking potential sources for a contract for two new carports with carport mounted grid-connected solar photovoltaic systems in Yuma, Arizona. The parking areas to be covered by the two new carports include Area No. 1 of approximately 9,500 square feet (50'x190'), and Area No. 2 of approximately 6,250 square feet (50'x125'). The contractor shall provide steel T-Frame (double cantilever or T-cantilever) carport shade structures featuring full cantilevered roof coverage extending in two directions with limiting support post interference. Power provided shall be 480V three phase compatible with the existing onsite distribution system. The photovoltaic system, including all solar arrays from Areas 1 and 2, shall produce a minimum of 238,700 kWh of AC energy per year (approximately 160 kW DC capacity). PV modules shall be a commercial off-the-shelf product, shall be UL listed, and shall be on the California Senate Bill 1 (SB1) List of Eligible SB1 Guidelines Compliant Photovoltaic Modules. Inverters shall be a commercial off-the-shelf product, listed to UL 1741 and IEEE 1547, and shall be on the California Senate Bill 1 (SB1) compliant List of Eligible Inverters.
