Build out requirements to be determined upon lease award. Offered space must meet or have the potential to meet Government requirements for Energy Star, and Fire, Safety, Handicapped Accessibility, and Sustainability set forth in the Request for Lease Proposals (RLP). The Government requires a fully serviced lease including four (4) parking spaces on-site for government vehicles. Subleases will not be considered. The Government shall have access to the space 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Space shall not be located within any flood plain or wetland unless the Government has determined it to be the only practical alternative. The space must be in an open environment, unobstructed by buildings, towers, large signs, trees, or any tall objects that my hinder the launch of weather balloons and their related equipment in varying wind conditions. The property must contain a building to allow the servicing and launching of weather balloons and their related equipment. The building must be able to contain 30 canisters of hydrogen used for balloon inflation. Approximately 500 sq/ft. of outside storage space will be required. An emergency power generation system that can meet the agency's need to power its operation and control room at all times is required. B.Projected Dates.
