Description

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Salem VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 1970 Roanoke Blvd in Salem, North Carolina will be soliciting offers for Fire Alarm Panel Inspection services. The contractor shall provide a qualified individual(s), defined as a technician who is factory trained and certified and is an authorized representative of the major equipment manufacturer Simplex. Contractor shall provide labor, material, preventive maintenance service testing, monitoring, and emergency call back for the fire detection to include fire alarm, fire alarm monitoring, and related components. A Request for Quote (RFQ) VA246-17-Q-0970 will be issued on or about June 19, 2017. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The period of performance is July 3, 2017 (or date of award) through July 2, 2018. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 561621 Fire Alarm Monitoring Services with a Small Business Size Standard of $20.5 million. The classification code is H312. The solicitation will be issued as a Small Disadvantaged Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
