Description

(i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; the Government intends to award the contract on a competitive basis. This requirement is set-aside for certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. (ii) Solicitation number VA261-17-Q-0670 is assigned as the request for quote (RFQ) and is attached. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-94 and 2005-95. (iv) This acquisition is a total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside. In order to be eligible for award the vendor must be registered in the VetBiz database. The NAICS code is 811310 and the size standard is $7.5 million. (v) The contract line items are listed in the attached price schedule of the solicitation package. When providing a quote, please provide a fixed rate for each line item. (vi) The contractor shall provide Fire Suppression System Service & Maintenance at the San Francisco VA Medical Center in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. (vii) The contract will be for a base year plus four option years. The period of performance is listed in Section B of the solicitation. (viii) The provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items and addendum with additional instructions/information, applies to this acquisition. (ix) The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items and addendum with additional instructions/information, applies to this acquisition. (x) The provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. If a contractor has already provided this information in their System for Award Management (SAM) profile, then no additional information is needed under this provision. (xi) The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xii) The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clauses checked within clause 52.212-5 in Solicitation Number VA261-17-Q-0670 are applicable to this acquisition. (xiii) The provisions and clauses included within solicitation VA261-17-Q-0670 are applicable to this Acquisition. (xiv) The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) do not apply to this acquisition. (xv) Quotes are due by 1500 or 3 PM PST on July 19, 2017 and can be emailed to angela.gerlitzki@va.gov.
