- Statement of Work 3 Statement of Work VIGILANCE II MONITOR Phoenix Veterans Administration Health Care Services 650 E. Indian School Road Phoenix, AZ 85012 1.0 Background: 1. This request for the purchase of 3 Vigilance Monitors. This purchase will replace 3 of Vigileo machines which are being phased out by the company this year, therefore they are currently unsupported. Phoenix VA ICU has been using the older version of these machines since 2009 for hemodynamic monitoring of the most complex ICU patients. The ICU staff is confident and competent in the use of the monitoring system and will require minimal training for the new features of the newer version. The purchase of these machines is in line with maintaining quality and safe care to critically compromised Veterans. 2. The EV 1000 Platform is an arterial-based hemodynamic (minimally invasive) monitoring device that includes continuous monitoring of at least: cardiac output, cardiac index, stroke volume, stroke volume index, systemic vascular resistance, systemic vascular index, and SVV to guide patient therapy related to multiple shock states, post-surgical patients, etc. It is the Vigilance Monitor that will provide the continuous cardiac output monitoring in the diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension and sepsis. In accordance with Appendix A, Handbook 6500.6 Checklist blocks 7, the C&A requirements do not apply to this requirement, and Security Accreditation Package is not required. Due to the non-technical nature of this requirement, in reference to no. 7 there is no information to be protected. If vendor needs access during delivery, assembly or installation, the contractor shall be escorted by a VA employee at all times to ensure there is no exposure to VA sensitive information. 8.0 GOVERNMENT FURNISHED EQUIPMENT: N/A 9.0 HIPPA Compliance: N/A
