Building 700 First Floor Imaging Department Renovation Construction Services for Project #612A4-13-311 Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 21 will be issuing an Invitation for Bids for a General Construction Contractor for the project to Renovate Building 700 First Floor Imaging Department at the VA Northern California Health Care System located at 10535 Hospital Way, Mather, California 95655. Work shall include, but not limited to the following: The renovation of existing space on the first floor, approximately 7,500 square feet, for the Imaging Department. The new space shall include Cath Labs, Cardiac CT Scanner Room, and associated control and equipment rooms, Holding/Prep Recovery rooms, Nurse Station, Stress Lab, and other support spaces, and systems as required by drawings and specifications. The requirement shall include but not be limited to general construction, alterations, architectural work and finishes, structural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, telephone, data security, fire alarm work, nurse call, medical equipment, utility systems, necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items as shown on SOW, Drawings, and Specifications. This Invitation for Bid will be a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Offers will only be accepted from qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. This is a Pre-Solicitation announcement only. Solicitation documents will be available on or about June 27th, 2016. The solicitation will contain proposal instructions. A Pre-Bid Conference and Project Site Visit will be scheduled see upcoming solicitation for the official date and time. It will be held at the VA Northern California Healthcare System facility located in Mather, California. This conference is highly recommended. Estimated project cost is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Questions regarding the solicitation must be sent in writing to robert.parke2@va.gov
