- Attachement 1 Salient Characteristics Microsoft SQL and Visio 1. This is a Sources Sought Announcemen t to be used for Market Analysis in determining the availability of the attached requirement. No award will be made from this Sources Sought. Do not submit a quotation or provide cost and pricing data. No solicitation is available at this time. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for the possible future acquisition. 2. Ellsworth AFB South Dakota is seeking sources qualified and interested in providing commercial item(s) proposed in accordance with Attachment 1, Salient Characteristics, provided in this Sources Sought synopsis, OR EQUAL ITEMS. 3. All interested parties are invited to provide information about your company/institution, or any teaming or joint venture partners. Note: If you do not intend to submit a proposal for this project when it is formally advertised, please do not submit a response to this Source Sought synopsis. If you have an interest in proposing on future requirements, you are invited to submit, in writing, a complete capabilities package. 4. A minimum capability statement shall state skills, experience, and knowledge required to perform this type of work. Include the following: a. Company name, address, Point of Contract (POC), telephone number, fax number, email address, website, and Cage code. b. Company's business size and/or socioeconomic status (i.e. Small Business, SBA Certified 8A Program Participant, SBA Certified Hub Zone Firm, Small Disadvantaged Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, and Women-Owned Business. c. A positive statement of your intention to bid on this contract as a prime contractor. d. Offeror's Joint Venture, Partnering Agreement, or Mentor-Protégé information if applicable - existing and potential. e. A listing of any Government contract held over the last three (3) years. f. If you are a small business, are you considering submitting a proposal as a prime contractor? g.What critical criteria that would distinguish your company's capabilities from another? Please explain. 5. The information requested will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. 6. Provide responses no later than 4:00pm MST 23 June 2017, and shall only be submitted electronically to: dean.walleen.1@us.af.mil. 7. Primary Government Point of Contact (POC): Dean Walleen. Questions relevant to this notice shall be sent electronically to the above email address. NO PHONE INQUIRES WILL BE ACCEPTED. All communications shall be in writing and submitted electronically with reference to "Microsoft SQL Server - Standard CORE Edition License & Software Assurance and Microsoft Visio Professional - License & Software Assurance. 8. Interested companies are encourage to provide other solution(s) that may meet the required specifications and/or functional description. When doing so, information shall follow the guidelines set by this Sources Sought. THIS IS A NOTICE FOR SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY.
