- This is a notice of intent to sole source a procurement under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR 6.302-1 Other Than Full and Open Competition - one responsible source. The applicable NAICS Code is 511210. The USMC Regional Contracting Office (RCO) - Marine Corps Installations-National Capital Region (MCI-NCR) at Quantico Marine Corps Base, VA intends to award a sole source contract to: Exelis Visual Information Solutions, Inc. 385 Interlocken Crescent, Ste 300 Broomfield, CO 80021-3562 The MCI-NCR RCO intends to award this requirement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(iii), "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." This requirement is for HQMC, Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA), Quantico, Virginia. Jagwire JWOCS Server v2.1.2 is used to maintain support for security patching and product troubleshooting Purchase of Jagwire software license renewal and annual maintenance will provide continuity of existing software service at MCIA.. This is a follow-on effort to maintain software maintenance of the existing Jaqwire software. Jagwire is the preferred scalable, web-based software featuring state-of-the-art video processing, data analytics, and powerful geospatial data federation capability. It is widely used in the United States Government as the most efficient and reliability on geospatial data to make time-critical decisions within MCIA. The Jagwire software allows MCIA analysts to gain near real-time access to geospatial data collected from a board range of orbital and fixed wing sources and support virtually any data type including live video feeds, satellite imagery archives, LIDAR point clouds, and vector data types. Procurement planning for the follow-on effort is currently in process, and award is expected to be made on or around June 20, 2017, in accordance with fair opportunity under Far Part 13 procedures. T he anticipated contract is for a period of performance from 20 June 2017 through 19 September 2017. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Capability statements or quotes, if received timely, will be considered; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses shall be emailed to valerie.v.bennett@usmc.mil no later than 16 June 2017, 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Late responses will not be considered.
