- This is a Sources Sought Notice. This Sources Sought neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. This Sources Sought should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This Sources Sought Notice is in support of a market survey being conducted by the St. Louis District, Corps of Engineers to identify interested Contractors within the District area for the Scope of Work listed below. The following are general capabilities required to perform the Scope of Work according to USACE standards. The Contractor must be capable to perform the Scope of Work listed below. General Project Description: This is a Sources Sought Synopsis. This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. This synopsis should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. This Sources Sought Synopsis is a market survey being conducted by the St. Louis District, Corps of Engineers to identify Small Business Contractors with experience with various aspects of environmental services. Responses should include a brief capability statement of no more than three pages indicating the experience and capability of a variety of environmental tasks to include, but not limited to: analysis of data derived from environmental studies; hazardous, toxic and radioactive waste (HTRW) assessments and remediation; industrial hygiene and health physics studies; environmental assessments; confined space entry; emergency response; research and development: report writing; special study projects; remote instrumentation and other related environmental work. The environmental remediation construction efforts will include but not limited to remedial design, remedial action, and remedial excavations of contaminated material at pre-determined depths, HTRW manifesting, utility relocation, water management, engineering support, and construction support. The anticipated work would be within the geographic boundaries of the Mississippi Valley Division (MVD), and Regions 5 and 7 of the EPA however projects could be located anywhere that the Corps of Engineers performs environmental work. A.) Capability Statements: Note: Under capability statements below, in addition to listing general experience, specifically include a listing of any USACE projects on which you demonstrated the required capability, including levee projects. 1. Briefly explain your experience with environmental site assessments. 2. Briefly explain your experience with executing remedial actions at EPA Superfund sites. 3. Briefly explain your experience with complex computer models and analysis used in the field of environmental data analysis 4. Briefly explain your experience with developing sampling and analysis plans and site safety and health plans. 5. Briefly explain your experience with developing quality assurance project plans. 6. Briefly explain your experience with writing and managing technical documents associated with Formerly Utilized Defense Sites (FUDS). B.)
