Description

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Navigation Programs Group, is requesting comments from industry on a DRAFT specification for Light Emitting Diode (LED) Runway End Identifier Lighting (REIL) System. A copy of the DRAFT specification is attached for your review and comments. If you are unable to download the attachment you may request a copy in writing from the Contracting Officer. This announcement is NOT a Screening Information Request (SIR) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). Further, the FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. All interested parties are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs associated with submissions from interested parties. Submittals received under this request for comments are for informational purposes only and will not be released to the public. Any proprietary information submitted must be adequately marked as "proprietary" and will be protected appropriately. Responses must be received no later than 5:00 PM EST 15 June 2017. All responses (one response per company) must be provided utilizing the attached document named �REIL Screening Comment Matrix �. Font type must not be less than 12 point. All responses must be submitted to Antonio.stewart@faa.gov.
