- Redacted Sole Source Justification. Solicitation for RFQ. Corpus Christi Army Depot Contracting Office Army Contracting Command-Redstone (CCAM-ALC) intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Invensys Systems Inc. of Houston, Texas under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1), only one source reasonably available. The requirement is for a functionality study of Engine Test Cell (ETC) Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). The requirement is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the attached solicitation. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. The solicitation number for this requirement is W912NW-17-T-0037 and is attached to this announcement. Provisions and clauses in effect through the latest Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Circulars Defense Acquisition are included in the attached solicitation. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 541511 and has a size standard of $27.5M. The Government will consider all responses received prior to the closing date of this combined synopsis/solicitation. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
