- Physical Support Branch: Dredge Goetz Fleet: Quarters Barge Taggatz, requests the award of a contract for a new Sewage Treatment & Media Diffuser Units for the Quarters Barge Taggatz. This contract is to supply a new Sewage Treatment & Media Diffuser Unit for the Dredge Goetz Fleet; Quarters Barge Taggatz. Scope of Work The Sewage Treatment Unit & Media Cleaning Diffusers unit shall be of the following specifications: I. Shall be in compliance with Title 33 CFR-Part 159 of the United States Coast Guard (USCG) sewage pollution prevention equipment certification standards II. Shall be in compliance with ISO 9001:2008 of American Petroleum Institute Quality Registrar (APIOR) III. Is to be in conformance with API Specification Q1 of American Petroleum Institute Quality Registrar (APIOR) IV. Capacity of not less than 1000 gallons per day and Service up to 50 people V. Process design shall be biological VI. Type of water to treat is black water only VII. Unit Flow is Gravity In/ Pump Out VIII. Constructed of ASTM-A-36 Steel IX. 3 Chamber Design a. Aeration Chamber b. Media Chamber c. Chlorine - Contact Chamber, liquid chlorine shall be used d. The Chlorine disinfection chamber/tank shall have duplex discharge pump installed with control panel (We want the duplex discharge pump to have redundancy in the system) X. 4 point lifting lugs XI. 316SS diffusers XII. 2" drain female pipe thread fittings on each chamber XIII. External air piping 316SS XIV. Internal fluid piping SCH40 XV. External connections female pipe thread XVI. 316SS Access covers XVII. Unit air supply should be sized appropriately for the unit XVIII. Electrical rating of NEMA 4X (Nema 4 is a weather proof enclosure) XIX. Unit voltage shall be 440 Volts / 3 phase XX. Chlorine delivery method shall be drip XXI. Discharge levels of total suspended solids shall not to be greater than 150mg/l XXII. Discharge levels of fecal coliform shall not to be greater than 200/100ml XXIII. Removable control panel, chemical tank, and air blower assembly for installation through watertight door on vessel XXIV. Dimensions of skid or skids shall not exceed 2'8" (32 inches) wide x 3'2 ¼" (38.25 inches) long XXV. Dimensions of tank or tanks shall not exceed 2'6" (30 inches) wide x 6'0" (72 inches) long NOTE: The not to exceed dimensions are due to installation restrictions Vendor shall be responsible for the shipment cost of the Sewage Treatment and Media Diffuser units to the Government facility in Fountain City, Wisconsin. Once contract is awarded, completed Sewage Treatment & Media Diffuser Units are to be provided to the users within 10 weeks of contract award.
