Description

This is a synopsis for the annual Bulk Fuel procurement for the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program. This procurement will cover requirements for a two year period; the second year will be awarded as an option. The ordering period for the base year (first year) is the date of award through September 30, 2018. The delivery period for the base year is October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018, with a 30 day carry over period. The estimated requirements for the base period are as follows: Turbine Fuel, Aviation (JP8), NSN: 9130-01-031-5816, Quantity: 73,200,000 USG, MIL-DTL-83133H/I.D.F. Specification No. 7-46311791-90/20E dated February 16, 2015; Diesel Fuel Oil (EN590), NSN: 9140-01-556-9156, Quantity: 38,800,000 USG, I.D.F. Specification No. 7-46311793-90/17E dated February 16, 2015. The ordering period for the option period (second year) is the date the option is exercised through September 30, 2019. The delivery period for the option period is October 1, 2018 through September 30, 2019, with a 30 day carryover period. The estimated requirements for the option period are as follows: Turbine Fuel, Aviation (JP8), NSN: 9130-01-031-5816, Quantity: 73,200,000 USG, MIL-DTL-83133H/I.D.F. Specification No. 7-46311791-90/20E dated February 16, 2015; Diesel Fuel Oil (EN590), NSN: 9140-01-556-9156, Quantity: 38,800,000 USG, I.D.F. Specification No. 7 -46311793-90/17E dated February 16, 2015. Fuels may be provided from any East/Gulf Coast port or the U.S. Possessions of Puerto Rico or the Virgin Islands. Only FOB Origin tanker offers are acceptable. Award is subject to the availability of funds. Tanker size is 14,000,000 USG of either a single product or combination of products. The solicitation will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities web site (www.fbo.gov). The items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreement Act of 1979. Due date for offers is to be determined on the solicitation.
