- STATEMENT OF WORK CALIFORNIA NATIONAL GUARD CHILD & YOUTH PROGRAM STATE YOUTH SYMPOSIUM (Camp) REQUIREMENT: The following Statement of Work specifies event requirements for the Child and Youth Program in support of the California National Guard Youth Symposium with 70 persons in attendance. As a 4-day and 3-night event, the event will include multiple life-skill trainings, specialized adventure and outdoor education training, and participation in order to increase the resiliency of National Guard youth. The Youth Symposium will take place at a camp-like retreat facility the California. The event may be held on one of the dates below for 70 California National Guard dependents and Volunteers. CAMP REQUIREMENTS: a) Date: June 28th - July 1st 2017 b) Group Size: 70 people c) Camp facility must be in Cental or Southern California and accredited by American Camping Association. Camp must provide ALL staff, 24 hour supervision, programming, and transportation. Camp must have Nurse or Medic onsite 24 hours. Camp must have liability insurance. d) Camp center must have accessible cabin spaces to accommodate overnight sleeping. Cabins must be separate for male and females. e) Camp center must include a full-service dining facility and provide all meals and snacks while onsite. f) Camp must provide final agenda and logistics to the Child and Youth Program 60 (sixty) days prior to event date for approval. Activities must have a life skill training component. Events cannot be completely recreational in nature. g) Onsite High Adventure, low ropes elements and/or outdoor education. The camp must provide trained personnel to facilitate the courses for participants; no larger than 15-20 per group sessions. h) Camp must be a registered "All Awards" entity in the System for Award Management www.SAM.gov LODGING REQUIREMENTS: a) Cabins must include beds for up to 70 participants with separate sleeping & bathroom spaces for boys & girls. Adult supervision must be provided in cabin. Must have at minimum 2 adults per cabin supervising at all times. b) Showers must be available and private (stall and curtain). No open shower facilities. c)Cabin lodging must be physically located on the camp's property, with minimal walkingdistances between important buildings such as the dining facility, conference spaces,and First-Aid office. CONFERENCE/MEETING SPACE REQUIREMENTS: a)One (1) General Session Room Date that can accomodate all participantsMeeting space that can accomodate small groups of 10-20 participants 1.Set up 10 tables and space for getting up to do large group activities. 2.Space must include one (1) projector screen, one (1) 25ft min. extension cord,two (2) grounded power strips, and one (1) VGA-M to VGA-M cable set-up. b)One (1) outside meeting space for large group activities to be accessible at all times MEAL REQUIREMENTS: a)Buffet Dinner for 70 attendees to include alternative meal options due to allergy. b)Buffet Breakfast and Lunch for 70 attendees to include alternative mealoptions due to allergy. MANPOWER REPORTING REQUIRMENTS: The contractor shall report ALL contractor labor hours (including subcontractor labor hours) required for performance of services provided under this contract for the CA ARNG via a secure data collection site. The contractor is required to completely fill in all required data fields using the following web address: http://www.ecmra.mil/ Reporting inputs will be for the labor executed during the period of performance during each Government fiscal year (FY), which runs October 1 through 6 September 30. While inputs may be reported any time during the FY, all data shall be reported no later than October 31 of each calendar year, beginning with 2013.
