- Description
- (a) Notice of intent for sole source requirement. The 50th Contracting Squadron, 210 Falcon Parkway Suite 2116, Schriever AFB, plans to award a modification to Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems, LLC, 1293 Perimeter Parkway, Virginia Beach, VA 23454-5690, under the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) task order (TO) FA2550-17-F-8000, Obscura, Mission Integration and Network Support-2 (OMINS-2), which was awarded on 27 Apr 2017 and included a one-month phase-in, a twelve month base contract period (1 Jun 2017 - 31 May 2018), four priced Options of one year each, and one priced Option of six months. (b) This contract modification will expand the role of OMINS -2 support for the Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN) Inter-Range Operations Number (IRON) Database File (IDF). This modification will allow the OMINS-2 contractor, LM, to perform data entry, build, test and validate all changes to the AFSCN IDFs in accordance with specific user requirements. These actions require expert-level Satellite Operations Center (SOC)-to-AFSCN-to-Satellite mission integration and must also provide troubleshooting support for a wide variety of space vehicle support parameters imbedded in the AFSCN IDF. It is essential that the AFSCN keep this data accurate and current in order to keep pace with launches of new space vehicles and the changing mission requirements of AFSCN users. (c) In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.207(c)(16), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. (d) The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred by interested parties in preparation of information or documents related to this modification. A determination by the Government to expand these services and not to compete this proposed contract expansion, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to expand these services. Any responses to this notice of contract action shall be submitted to: Camille Watley, Contracting Officer, at camille.watley.2@us.af.mil and Victesha Walton, Contract Specialist, at victesha.walton@us.af.mil.
