- Description
- The Embassy of the United States in Serbia has issued the solicitation for providing voluntary supplemental health insurance services for locally engaged staff of the Embassy of the United States in Belgrade, Serbia, and the solicitation and supporting documents are available for download on this page. If you would like to submit a proposal, download all documents and follow the instructions in Section L of the solicitation. We expect that approximately 300 employees may opt to sign up for single or family plans. These requirements may change depending on funding availability in forth coming periods. Major duties and responsibilities are to provide supplementary health insurance in accordance with the Embassy's approved benefit level as stated in the solicitation. It is advised that you be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) by the time you submit your proposal, but it is NOT required until we award. Proposals from companies not registered in SAM when we award will not be considered. Electronic offers will be accepted, please see the soliciation for instructions on how to submit a proposal in electronic format. If you want to submit a proposal in hard copy, please mail your offer to the contracting office listed in this notice prior to the response date and time. Proposals are due by 17:00 local time on May 30, 2017 and will not be accepted after this date. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if received on time, shall be considered. The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting an acceptable quotation at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.
