- Environmentally Protective Combat Footwear Industry Day NSRDEC will host a series of meetings with boot manufacturers in conjunction with the Department of Defense (DoD) Footwear Technical Committee Meeting, on 09 May 2017, to discuss the technical requirements defined within RFI W911QY-17-EPCF. Due to meeting space and time constraints, attendance is limited solely to interested Berry Compliant Prime Footwear Contractors. Prime Contractors are limited to no more than four (4) individuals per company. Questions from component suppliers and prime contractors regarding the RFI requirements may be submitted to Mr. Jay McNamara via email (Jay.McNamara.civ@mail.mil) prior to COB 05 May, to be addressed at the general session of the DoD Footwear Technical Committee Meeting on 09 May. 1. When: 08-10 May 2017 2. Location: Natick Crowne Plaza Hotel and/or US Army Natick Soldier Systems Center 3. DoD Footwear Technical Committee Meeting General Session: 0900-1430 on 09 May 2017 4. Individual Break-out sessions will be hosted by the Government with interested participants for no more than 25 minute sessions. Time slot availability will be on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are representing a prime and interested in signing up for a 25 minute session, please contact Mr. Jay McNamara to reserve your company's time slot with the following information via email by COB 01 May 2017: company name & address, names & titles of company representatives to attend. Mr. McNamara will then assign a one-on-one time slot.
