Sample Task Order Scope and Specifications Sample Task Order Plans Base Year Specifications Solicitation Title of Work: Mississippi River Structures, Miles 954.0 to 320.0 AHP Project Description: Memphis and Vicksburg Districts perform studies, investigations, designs, repairs, and construction of dikes, other stone navigation structures (including chevrons, bendway weirs, hardpoints, and other river training structures), bank protections, and revetments over a total of 734 river miles between the confluence of the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers near Cairo, IL to near the Old River Control Complex near Natchez, MS as part of the Mississippi River Channel Improvement Project. Additional work may include placement of stone fill and longitudinal peaked stone toe protection in specified areas such as dike fields, revetments, and other locations along the river as well as riprap bank paving to include bank clearing, grading and excavation. Each project is assigned a Project Delivery Team (PDT) comprised of various organizational elements within the District, including technical (Engineering and Construction Divisions), contracting, legal, and project management (including the Deputy for Small Business). The District fields an in-house staff that provides project management, technical, contracting, legal, and resource management services to support Mississippi River life-cycle programs. The District's contracting responsibilities for the facilities support include acquisition planning; procurement actions leading up to award of contracts with associated preparation of documentation and approvals; administration of the resulting contracts, including award and administration of individual task orders. Since project initiation, the Memphis and Vicksburg Districts have constructed and continue to maintain over 1,100 stone navigation structures with a total length of 334 miles of structures and approximately 700 miles of revetment. North American Industry Classification System: 237990 Small Business Size Standard: $36.5M Acquisition Strategy: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District (MVM), proposes to award up to five (5) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOC). Awards will be made to the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable offers. Work Location: The project work will take place along the Mississippi River within the Districts' boundaries from River Mile 954 AHP to 320 AHP. The work may be performed at various locations (multiple sites) along the river in the states of Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Site Visits: No site visits are currently scheduled. However, offerors can schedule site visits, during normal duty hours, by contacting the designated Area Engineer's office listed in the solicitation. Magnitude of Work: Between $25 Million and $100 million. Contract Duration: 5 years Request for Proposal: Issued on 23 Apr 2017 Proposal Due Date: On 24 May 2017, 1:30 PM CST The resulting contract award will be a 5 Year, Firm-Fixed-Price, IDIQ MATOC. The Government reserves the right to award up five (5) contracts from this solicitation. The Solicitation Number will be W912EQ-17-R-0014.
