Description

The Naval Air System Command (NAVAIR) Patuxent River, MD, intends to negotiate a task order with ERAPSCO, 4578 East Park 30 Drive, Columbia City, IN 46725-8869, on a sole source basis for the manufacturing and delivery of AN/SSQ-125A Production Representative Model (PRM) sonobuoys for P-8A MAC-E regression testing and risk reduction in preparation for MAC-E Initial Operational Test and Evaluation (IOT&E). The requirement includes an initial quantityy of 144 AN/SSQ-125A PRMs, with priced options for an additional quantity of 288 PRMs, as required. A sole source contract is consistent with the terms identified within this announcement upon the basis of the authority provided in 10 U.S.C 2304 (c) (1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice is not a request for proposals. No phone inquiries will be entertained.
