PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE SOLICITED UNDER THIS NOTICE.*** Notice: The Joint Staff will conduct an Industry Conference at the National Geospatial Center �s Arthur Lundahl Conference Center, Springfield, VA on May 19, 2017 from 0730 to 1630. Registration instructions and additional information are attached to this notice. Purpose: To decompose the Strategic Vision and Challenges from the National Military Strategy (NMS) and the FY19-23 Capability Gap Assessment into pieces that industry and academia can resolve To speed the �triage of ideas � by connecting industry with government organizations tasked to address capability gaps To foster community dialog and networking Security Classification: The main conference will be Classified at the SECRET//NOFORN and there will be Top Secret/SCI presentations/discussions in adjacent rooms. Agenda: Opening Remarks: National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency Director 2016 National Military Strategy: J5 Scene Setter / Capability Area Overview: J8 Keynote Speaker, Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Air-Ground-Maritime-Spectrum-Cyber-Space challenges in contested/degraded operational environments: J8 Integrated Air Missile Defense: JIAMDO Lunch Multi-Domain ISR: J2 Multi-Domain C4: J6 Breakout Session: Space Communication / Mission Assurance: J8 Breakout Session: Cyber Innovation Initiatives Panel Closing Remarks, Director, Force Structure, Resources and Assessment, J8 Recommended Attendance: Properly cleared individuals from the defense industry.
