Description
STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) Rental of Laundry Trailers 1179th Transportation Surface Brigade (TSB) 1. The 1179th TSB is seeking rental of washers and dryers for outdoor use. The equipment shall be containerized, delivered, assembled ready-for-use, disassembled and removed. The washers and dryers will be utilized by soldiers without any contractor personnel. Containers shall be emplaced on leveled ground with access to washers and dryers. The Government shall provide three (3) concrete slabs with full hook-ups for water, electricity and sewage. 2. Containers shall not exceed the following dimensions: 25'long x 15' wide (x 1 containerized units) 3. Total number of washers required: twenty four (24) 4. Total number of dryers required: twenty four (24) 5. The contractor shall ensure all equipment is operational at all times. The contractor shall replace faulty or non-working equipment as soon as possible from the time of notification. 6. The contractor shall provide one point of contact for replacement of equipment, delivery, and removal coordination. 7. Contractor is responsible for ensuring all equipment is set-up correctly and meets all applicable safety standards. 8. Instructions for the use of washers and dryers shall be posted within each containerized unit. 9. The containerized units shall be enclosed and safe to operate during inclement weather. The contractor is not responsible for ensuring government personnel adhere to safety standards. However, the contractor shall provide written safety warnings to be followed by the users (soldiers). 10. Delivery address: Camp Pendleton State Military Reservation, 205 Redhorse Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23451. 11. Contractor shall deliver and have all equipment operational on 7 May 2017. Contractor shall remove all equipment on 21 May 2017. Contractor is responsible for access to the military installation, and coordination for delivery, removal to include replacement or maintenance. A Government point of contact will be provided at time of contract award.
