Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision in accordance with construction documents, drawings and specifications to complete Project 607-16-133 Repair Laundry Loading Dock at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital, Madison, WI. Work includes, but is not limited to: general demolition and construction, site improvements, interior and exterior alterations, temporary material lift, structural steel, masonry, carpentry, roofing, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, control and communications, 3-stop hydraulic elevator, loading dock equipment, utility systems and necessary removal of existing structures as described within project construction documents. This work is phased construction. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on FedBizOpps. There will be a pre-bid conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid conference will be included in the solicitation package. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bid, the bidder must represent that it is a SDVOSB concern, a small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to the acquisition, and is CVE verified for eligibility in the VIP database. The solicitation will be issued on or about 3 May 2017 with the bid opening on or about 5 June 2017. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from FedBizOpps which may be issued to this solicitation. The project magnitude range is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220; size standard $36.5 Million applies. Time for completion is 540 calendar days after Notice to Proceed.
