- This amendment contains the following additions and changes: 1)The following Language has been added to Section D.2.1.1.4 NON-CONSUMABLE/CONSUMABLE MEDICAL SUPPLIES: AEMFs must arrive at the incident meeting or exceeding the minimum stocking inventory listed below. It will be at the Medical Unit Leader or their designees discretion what quantities from the minimum stocking inventory list AEMFs will be required to carry with them in their packs on the line. 2)Quantity changes made to Section D.2.1.1.4 NON-CONSUMABLE/CONSUMABLE MEDICAL SUPPLIES: 10 ea..Dressing, Knuckle, cloth (quantity changed from 20 ea to 10 ea) 10 ea..Dressing, Finger Tip, cloth (quantity changed from 20 ea to 10 ea) 10 ea..Dressing, Band-Aid, cloth 1x3 (quantity changed from 20 ea to 10 ea) 10 ea..Prep Pad, Alcohol (quantity changed from 20 ea to 10 ea) 10 ea..Prep-Pad, povidone iodine (quantity changed from 20 ea to 10 ea) 10 ea..Bacitracin Ointment, 1/32 oz (quantity changed from 20 ea to 10 ea) 2000 ml..Fluid, normal saline or lactated ringers in any combination bag size for a minimum total fluid quantity of 2000 ml (quantity changed form 4 bags of 500 ml to 2000 ml minimum total quantity made up of any bag size) 3)Answers to Questions Received: (This list includes questions and answers from the April 13th, 2017 1900-2100 preproposal meeting in Missoula, MT) QUESTION: Do the items & quantities listed on the equipment and supply list have to be transported by pack to the fire line or just available onsite for use? For example, do all 20 knuckle bandages have to be carried on the line? ANSWER: Please see Number 1 and Number 2 of this amendment for quantity changes, and additional language regarding what quantities will be required to be carried in packs on the line. QUESTION: Could you carry different size IV fluid bags totaling 2000 ml instead of the specific four 500 ml bags as listed in the inventory? ANSWER: Yes, please see Number 2 of this amendment. QUESTION: Do we have to supply a 1 quart sharp container or can we use smaller containers with the total capacity of 1 quart? ANSWER: The solicitation reads that the total capacity of all containers must be at least 1 quart. This total capacity can be achieved through one container totaling 1 quart, or through multiple containers totaling 1 quart. QUESTION: Does the equipment and operator have to be in the same equipment city and state? ANSWER: Please refer to Section D.5.1 and Section D.21.8.1.1 in the solicitation.
